7th grade English students have been learning about different cultures and how they have faced and overcome adversity. As they closed out the unit, students looked at a few ways peaceful protesting has been used to influence change for many of these communities and cultures.
Students got to create a protest song and protest poster using the printmaking process to bring light to a community, culture, or problem of their choice that was either reviewed in class or that was personal for them. Thank you to Mrs. Kehr and Mr. Jones for creating this great experience!
