Seniors registered to attend NWACC have the opportunity to attend a VIP Orientation Session on the NWACC campus on May 6th! Students will meet with advisors to register for classes, finalize financial aid plans, and have their student ID's made. We will leave the Arkansas Arts Academy campus at 8:30am and return around 1:00pm.

On Friday, April 1st Makenna Davis, Lizette Sanchez, and Kaylor Sarchet competed in the 2022 Middle and Junior Division Regional Science Fair. Both projects were entered into the chemistry category and Makenna brought home a 3rd place win overall in the Junior Division. It was a great opportunity to be involved in the scientific process and all three represented our school well. Congratulations to both projects for making it to this level of competition and to Makenna for placing!

News from UA Little Rock!
Freshmen now can get admitted without a minimum ACT or SAT score! UA Little Rock added this admission standard as a pathway for students that perform better in the classroom than on test day. The new admissions standard requires that students have earned at least a 3.00 GPA. Other admissions options are available.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming Parent Engagement Night on Monday, April 4th from 5:30-6:30 in the HS Library.
Luke Jackson, licensed counselor and outreach specialist with Ozark Guidance, will speak on "Child Development: Changes Versus Red Flags." He will cover different stages of childhood development and parenting tips for building positive relationships. He will discuss, for example, the differences between nervousness versus anxiety, typical inattention versus ADHD, and resolved versus unresolved grief.

On Friday, April 1st at 3:00, Sam Barnes from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff will be visiting our campus to meet with students. Your child may sign up for this event on their RTI Scheduler.
UAPB is the second oldest public university in Arkansas, the only public historically black institution in Arkansas, and one of only nineteen 1890 land-grant institutions in the country.
This event is open to Juniors and Seniors. Your child should schedule through RTI and meet in the library at 3:00.

Congratulations to the AAA HS Concert and Chamber Choirs! Under the direction of Rebeca Adler, both choirs earned Superior (I) ratings from all three judges at the Choral Performance Assessment earlier this month. Shine on Diamonds!

March 10th from 4:00-9:00 pm is a fundraising $pirit Night at Raising Cane's in Rogers. If you tell them your order is with AAA, 15% of your total will go to AAA! Get some great food and raise money to support your school at the same time!
Prom is May 7th at The Record in Bentonville. Juniors & Seniors can purchase their ticket on MyPaymentsPlus under Events & Activities, HS Student Council & their name. Tickets are $50 if purchased before March 27th, $55 March 28th-April 10th, & $60 from April 11th-May 6th.
Spring Coffee House is scheduled for April 8th. Tickets are now on Sale.
