The middle school guitar and percussion departments are combining for a winter concert. Students will perform selections from classic rock, modern rock, and other styles as ensembles. Many students will perform in multiple capacities, and everyone in the classes will have the opportunity to perform. The concert will take place on Friday, February 7th at 6:30 pm in the PAC. Admission is free; donations are appreciated.

Ms. Fabricant's 7th grade scientists built the layers of the earth and modeled the texture of the asthenosphere to mimic the "plastic" consistency found in the earth's mantle.
Congratulations to Sam Sibaja (percussion), Gregory Mac (oboe), and Thomas Allen (oboe) for making the Arkansas All-Region Band this year!
Both Thomas and Samuel will be representing AAA at the all-region clinic today and tomorrow. After rehearsing, they will give a concert along with some of the best woodwind, brass, and percussion players in NWA at Bentonville West High School on Saturday, January 25th.

The Diamond Swap Shop is overflowing with new and gently used clothing! If your student is in need of any clothing or personal items, please reach out to Mr. Clark or Mrs. Hurt. 10th grade student Mackenzie Allen has been chosen as a semifinalist in the Name the Mars Rover Contest. 28,000 students, K-12, entered and Mackenzie is in a semifinalist pool of 155 students. She will find out next week if she advances as a finalist.

The 7-12 campus was treated to a performance from Ballet Folklorico today. This local dance company specializes in traditional dances from Mexico. We greatly enjoyed their performance!
Some of our elementary dance students went to Little Rock this weekend to attend a dance workshop at UALR.

Thank you AAA families for your donations to the Red Ribbon Week "Paws Off Drugs" drive for the Rogers Animal Shelter. Students in the impact class dropped off the donations today and were able to learn more about the shelter mission and interact with some of the animals.
