AAA Black Student Union members visited KISS 105.3 radio station in Fayetteville to kick start their Black History Month projects. In this part of their project, BSU students wanted to educate their community about Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Each student chose a school and recorded a summary about the school to be played during the month of February on 105.3. In the next part of their project, BSU students will prepare artistic performances for their Black History Showcase to be performed at the end of February. Be on the lookout for more info on that.
We are so proud of these young leaders! Listen for their radio spots on KISS 105.3!

Thanks to everyone who participated in Yellow Wednesday yesterday. We hope to see lots of green and AAA shirts tomorrow for "We are Proud of Our School" day. #SchoolChoiceWeek
Dear AAA Parents:
We are celebrating National School Choice Week 2021 this week at Arkansas Arts Academy. School Choice Week highlights opportunities and all types of options in education, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online schools, and homeschooling. In honor of school choice, staff and students can participate in a "Yellow Day," Wednesday (wear yellow clothing or accents). Then, on Friday, we will celebrate being a part of our wonderful school community, and wear green or Arts Academy spirit wear. Student artwork, illustrating "I Love My School Because..." will be displayed in the hallways.
Parents, we appreciate that you have chosen Arkansas Arts Academy for your children's K-12 education. It is an honor to work with them each day.
