Welcome to another year of Arkansas Arts Academy Diamond archery! Tryouts are scheduled for October 5th, 7th, and 8th from 3:00pm-4:00pm in the AAA Gym. Tryout spots must be scheduled on signup genius. A link will be provided below. Please leave your student’s name in the comments on signup genius if the parent is signing up. If signing up multiple students, please reserve a spot for each student. Any student not signed up for a time slot will not be allowed to tryout. All virtual students must attend tryouts and all practices. If a student is quarantined at the time of tryouts, you still need to sign them up for a time and email me. All students must have academic good standing and have not had a suspension since January 1st, 2021.
The top 4 boys, top 4 girls, and next 8 highest scores will make up the team. 4th and 5th will make up the elementary team and will only tryout from 10 meters. 6th will be part of the middle school team and will shoot from both 10 and 15 meters in tryouts. A $50 activity fee is due for all students who make the team. Parents will be responsible for getting them to all practices and tournaments. They are expected to attend all practices and tournaments. Failure to appear at the regional tournament may result in getting replaced on the state tournament roster.
All practices will be 7:00am-8:00am at the National Guard Armory in Rogers at 1408 S. 1st St. A practice schedule will be listed below. Transportation from the armory to school will be provided if needed, but parents are responsible for getting them to the armory on time.
