Arkansas Arts Academy 1st and 2nd grades braved the weather and participated in the 2nd annual Arkansas Symbols Day at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History! Arkansas Symbols Day is a collaboration with 24 community partners from all over the state of Arkansas who share history through official symbols of our state for elementary students. Each partner set up a station with a featured symbol. Stations included a milking station complete with cow (not real cow parents, that would be utterly ridiculous), a honey station which was BEE-autiful! And our favorite, the Arkansas Traveler station where kids learned about the history of the song. Thank you to the Shiloh Museum, our extraordinary 1st and 2nd grade teachers and our amazing parents who chaperoned to make this trip a success!
