Celebrate the Arts is next Saturday, April 20th from 4-8 pm at AAA High School. Please make plans to join us for this "revived" annual fundraising event to support arts programming at AAA! Come see our students showcase their artistic abilities, bid in the silent auction, and buy a raffle ticket to win a new kayak! On Monday, a group of AAA High School EAST and Science students traveled to the totality zone as part of the collaborative project with the University of Central Arkansas's physics department and ADE's Computer Science department to use a custom made sensor to collect data during the solar eclipse. Students will be comparing the data they collected in the totality zone to the second sensor that was collecting data from the roof of our high school campus and uploading our results to the project. After receiving the data from the other participating schools our students will be creating a GIS map to visually show the impact of the eclipse around the state.
