We have lots of new faces so we know you will want to take time to learn more about our wonderful new staff members. During the summer we all attended A+ Training on how to integrate art throughout the curriculum. Our teachers are working as teams to ensure that you have a great year. Visit the teacher wish list boards in the classrooms to learn of any items you can help to supply for the classrooms.
Also, please pardon our dust, as we begin the important renovations necessary for the new facade on the building.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT OPEN HOUSE
Every one will be provided a checklist of booths and stations that you need to visit. Here’s a quick list of the booths that will be available to help for a smooth and productive school year:
All students in Grades 3-8 will need to purchase a school planner for $5.00. This will be a helpful form of communication between teachers and parents!
If you pick your child up from school either by foot or car, you will need to pick up your student’s dismissal tag. These tags are mandatory but they make sure that all students leave in an orderly and safe fashion. We’re excited about this new safety measure to make sure all students are getting home to the right place. Make sure to visit this booth to get your tag at Open House.

NEW BUTTERFLY GARDEN
We have a new butterfly garden located outside of the 4th Grade classrooms on the North Side of the Elementary School Building. This butterfly garden was kindly sponsored by community donors, Bill & Avis Bailey, of Superior Automotive Group. We are excited about this new learning space so make sure you check it out. There will be a booth located at the end of the 4th grade hall. We’d love you to all check it out!
