High School Students at Shiloh Museum of Natural History

High School students from Mr. Jaglin's class at Arkansas Arts Academy visited the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History today to experience how citizens of Northwest Arkansas lived during the 1930's. Carly Squyres, Education Assistant at the Shiloh Museum, coordinated a tour connecting the themes and subject students are currently studying. As an arts integration component, students studied a mural painted by Natalie Henry in 1940, commissioned by the Works Progress Administration for the city of Springdale. Students in Jaglin's class will produce a mural of their own later in the semester.
