Students learn how to create Scribblebots for Tinkerfest at the Amazeum
Arkansas Arts Academy high school students taking tech theater experienced how to create a scribblebot; a mechanical device made of found materials and art supplies that creates "art" when the motor is activated. Representatives from The Scott Family Amazeum visited AAA to train students in the fabrication of scribblebots for Tinkerfest, an annual celebration that will be held at the Amazeum this Saturday, October 9th from 10 am to 4 pm. The students will serve as volunteers for the event and assist children in the making of the "motorized Matisses"
Tinkerfest is a great family activity where all can experiment and learn things together. Ages 4-104 will find a tinkering experience to explore. To learn more about Tinkerfest at The Scott Family Amazeum visit http://www.amazeum.org/events-and-programs/tinkerfest/
