NEWS FROM 7/8 TEAM
We will celebrate the arrival of Fall and the end of first quarter with a Hoedown on October 14, from 6:00-8:00. This is the last day before Fall Break October 15-18.
I need some parent help to make this a fun time for our students! I have already booked a DJ to provide us with square dance instruction and dance music.
We need to decide on the food and decorations. I will also need volunteers to help serve and chaperone the dance.
I would like to have an informational meeting on Wednesday, October 7th, at 3:00 to make the preparations for this event. Please email me email@example.com if you will be able to attend the meeting, or help in some way.

LABELS FOR EDUCATION
Welcome to an exciting year at Arkansas Arts Academy! This year, our school will be participating in the Labels for Education® program. My name is Lily Welch and I am the Labels for Education coordinator for our school. Through the program we can collect UPCs and beverage/sauce caps from participating products to earn points that can be redeemed for FREE educational merchandise!
Our goal this year is to collect 50,000 points that we can redeem for items on our wishlist which can be viewed on the Labels for Education website. It’s easy to help – simply save UPCs and beverage/sauce caps from participating products and drop them off at Arkansas Arts Academy.
In addition, I am looking for a few volunteers. Volunteers would meet once a month to sort and prep labels to be mailed. These volunteers would also work together to prioritize the Labels for Education wishlist.
Thank you for your support. Together with the Labels for Education program – we can build a better school for our children.
to find out about additional ways to earn Labels for Educationbonus points!

SCHOOL ZONE REMINDER
Parents please remember to slow down when and around schools. We have had several near misses. Please slow down when driving in and around the school parking lot. Safety is our primary concern.
